Visit Pura Beji

One of the oldest temples in Bali which is said to be built around the 15th century.  The temple gate and shrines are made of pink sandstone with amazing reliefs and sculptures carved on the walls. The temple gate is composed of dragon, snake, imaginary beast and devil sculptures. Inside the large inner courtyard you will see old frangipani trees, wooden statues and a throne of the sun-God.

Practical info: Not many travelers know about this temple, so it is very quiet when no temple ceremony takes place.
