Visit Goa Lawah, the Bat Temple

The temple is built around a natural huge cave which is home of thousands of bats. This cave is believed by locals to extend all the way back to the mother temple Besakih. You will see the bats hanging on the ceiling and walls of the cave and you will hear their squeaking sound. The site is opposite a black sand beach where you can find many shops and seafood restaurants along the beach.

Practical info: If you come to the temple during temple festivals, the place is usually packed with worshippers and it gets quite difficult to enter.
